Pepsi Chicken Wings Night (Recipe included, super easy)

Are you a wings person? Here let's add a new flavour to your wings collection: Pepsi!!!

I decided to make wings with the pepsi that my friends brought over last night to make chicken wings. I didn't tell my tickling buddy, what kind of wings I was going to make. Because last time I suggested making Pepsi Wings, he was like: Ewwww....

So tonight, I just went ahead and make it, if he does't like, I will eat them all.

This is the mess I made, doesn't it look like some kind of abstract painting?

My tickling buddy loved it, and we finished it all of course, the poor poodle got non of it.

Here is gonna be one of the recipes that you will wanna keep, and guess what it is super easy, like beginner easy.

Ingredients:
1 pound          Chicken wings (about 15 - 20)
1                    Lemon
2 cans            Coke
          1/2 tsp            Salt
1 tsp               Soy Sauce
Directions:
I. Make 2 light cuts on the surface of each wings, so that the sauce can get into the meat easily.
2. Put the Chicken wings in a large bowl and marinate it with the juice from one lemon, let it sit for at least 5 minutes. This will get rid of the smell of chicken, and at the same time make the meat more soft and tender, and add more taste to the wings.

3. Heat up the frying pan, and put the wings in (no need to put in any oil, as the oil will come out of the fat in the chicken as you cook it).
4. When there is fat coming out of the wings, flip it to the other side.
5. Let the wings cook until both of the side golden, as shown in my picture. (this took me around 5-7 minutes)

6. Add in Pepsi or Coke so that it just covers up all the wings, and also add in salt and soy sauce.

7. Get rid of the bubbles.
8. In medium to high heat, let the wings cook until the coke becomes a syrup like texture. (this took me around 15 - 20 minutes)
9. Serve it, and get ready to eat this bad chicken wing!!!!

ENJOY!!!

Bread, Salad and Water VS Drugs, Dessert and Alcohol

I don't know if I can call myself a blogger yet, since this blog is only two days old. But I would like to share with you, my night as a blogger in downtown Vancouver.
Tonight me and my blogger date Lody went to Espana

We were treated very nicely by the servers, I got the drinks I need to write blog (I know, because writing a blog is so stressful), oneSherry ------- Alvear Amontillado which has the taste of Baked Orange Peel, and Walnuts, as well as a Espana Sangria served in a coffee mug.

During my blogging session, I met a group of guys travelling in vancouver from Los Angeles, including Mike, who was very happy and confident because of Ecstasy (Mike, if you are reading, here is the section I promise to write about you). Honestly, I could never tell that he was on anything at all if he hadn't tell me. According to Mike, Ecstasy gives you a lot of positive feelings, like happiness, confidence, energy, etc. It's like being drunk without the sick feelings.

Personally, I don't do drugs, but I am not against people doing it as long as they are not addicted. As someone who lives in Vancouver, I smell weed almost everywhere and all the time. I also have many friends who smoke Pot, and guess what? They are not hipsters, some of them are genius at biochemistry and others are fun and sociable, they are all as normal as I am (I guess, or are we actually all crazy?). As long as people are able to control it, I think it's perfectly fine to do some little harmless drugs to mess up with your brain every once a while to keep up with this crazy world. Just like how I like to drink and get all tipsy, and how we like to eat bakeries and desserts to get fat, and how we like to have fries and fast food so that we can have heart problems one day. I mean what is the fun in life if we have bread and salad and drink water everyday?

And finally here is my drink of the night : The Spanish Harlem!!!!!

Spanish Harlem
Bourbon
Vermouth
Sherry
Bitters
Orange Zest to Garnish

And happy happy life to you all!!!

Saturday Brunch @ Central Bistro

Is it a trend or do food look even better when you put them on the internet? I really don't care.
But you know what grinds my gears?
When I see beautiful people and delicious food and don't know where the hell they are from!

So to make sure that my adorable readers don't feel the same disturbance as I did while reading my rants, I assure you that every picture of food and place and people and things you see, I will tell you where it was taken.

Today (still drunk from last night) me and my tickling buddy went to Central Bistro on Denman and Comox for brunch, and here is what we had.
Croque Monsieur
Scone with whip cream and home made butter
West coast Benny
Central Bistro

My lovely tickling buddy did not offer to share his Croque Monsieur with me, but it's okay, it looks pretty fat and creamy anyways (I don't sound bitter at all).

And I had the West coast benny with wild smoke salmon. Mine wasn't that fantastic, I need wayyyy more salmon than what they gave me (speaking of Salmon Benny, my personal favour is the twisted fork on Granville street, there is so much salmon in it, that it actually lives up to it's name).

However, the scone, the scone, omg the scone is unbelievably good, it's soft and moist and a little crunchy and the same time, with some melted chocolate chip in it, and with the whip cream and butter, it's definitely one of  the best scones around!
